Colt Firearms Custom Shop Grizzly Features The Colt Firearms Custom Shop Grizzly is built around the proven double-action Colt revolver platform chambered in .357 Magnum for a cartridge that shooters trust for both target work and defensive use. Its 4.25 inch barrel strikes a practical balance between sight radius and a manageable overall length suiting the revolver for range sessions and field carry alike. Colt s Custom Shop assembles each revolver with additional attention to fit and function beyond a standard production run. This extra level of craftsmanship is what sets a Custom Shop model apart from Colt s standard catalog offerings. Owning a Custom Shop revolver means owning a piece produced in far smaller numbers than Colt s mainline models which appeals directly to collectors who value limited-production firearms. The .357 Magnum chambering also allows shooters to fire .38 Special ammunition for lower-cost practice while retaining full Magnum capability when needed. A revolver of this caliber and barrel length handles comfortably in the hand making it a practical choice for range use as well as display. For Colt collectors and revolver shooters alike the Custom Shop Grizzly represents a distinctive addition to any collection.
