EGW Sight Mount Features The EGW Sight Mount replaces the factory rear sight on the Heckler and Koch HK45 HK45 Compact P30 P30L P30sk VP40 and VP9 as well as the EAA Witness and provides a direct interface for a Trijicon RMR or Holosun HS507C red dot. It includes two 6-32 flat head screws and a 6-32 x 3/16 set screw and installation only requires a 5/64-inch allen wrench. EGW recommends applying blue Loctite to the mounting screws and torquing them to 15 in-lbs so the optic stays zeroed under recoil. Because the mount uses the factory dovetail the original rear sight can be reinstalled at any time. Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in a matte black hardcoat the mount is built to withstand the recoil of centerfire duty calibers without loosening over time. At 1.78 inches long and 1.1 inches wide it closely tracks the factory sight footprint rather than adding unnecessary bulk. EGW also notes fitment on the Baby Desert Eagle post-2006 while the mount does not fit Rock Island 1911 pistols.
