The ESF-H1 (End plate, sling adapter, Forward Controls Design, heavy, 1 Socket) is a precision engineered end plate replacement designed for the AR-platform, compatible with both .223 and .308 specifications. Crafted from robust 4140 steel and finished with a durable DLC coating, the ESF-H1 offers enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding environments. This innovative end plate features a single, rear-facing QD swivel socket, strategically designed without rotation limiters. The receiver extension naturally restricts the swivel's rotation, providing a streamlined and efficient design. Unlike traditional end plates with side-facing QD swivel sockets, the ESF-H1 maintains clear access to wrench notches, essential for proper torquing. When using a conventional castle nut wrench with three lugs, the socket housing may obstruct access to one lug. To address this, a 2-lug castle nut wrench, such as the AR Multitasker or our proprietary JCW (Joint castle nut Wrench), is recommended for optimal torque application. Additionally, the ESF-H1's receiver extension indexing tab is designed for a snug fit, which may be tight on some receiver extensions, ensuring a secure and stable installation.
