"Men's New Balance® Ellipse Pykrete: If you want a neutral running shoe that makes daily miles feel comfortable from the first step to the last, the Ellipse Pykrete is a solid place to start. This men's daily trainer uses Fresh Foam X cushioning to give you a soft, lightweight feel underfoot, which makes it a good match for everyday running and steady training days. The details behind that comfortable ride are practical ones. Fresh Foam X cushions each landing so your legs aren't fighting the shoe as the miles add up. The breathable, modern upper keeps air moving while giving your foot a supported feel, and the durable rubber outsole adds traction you can count on. With an 8mm heel to toe drop and reflective details for visibility, it also works well for runs that start early or finish after dark. The fit calls for going up a half size, so keep that in mind when you order. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore the Ellipse on an easy daily run and the Fresh Foam X felt soft without feeling sluggish. The upper kept my feet comfortable and airflow was good, and I liked having the reflective details for an early start. Just remember to size up half, because that is what gets the fit right."" - Michael, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Seattle WAWho It's Best ForIf you log regular weekday miles and want a cushioned, neutral trainer that you can lace up without thinking twice, the Ellipse Pykrete is worth a look.
