The Proof Research Elevation FDX Bolt-Action Rifle was built for hunters in search of a lightweight rifle with enhanced precision and adaptability. It's built around the Falkor LW7 premium lightweight custom bolt action, which is one of the lightest all-steel custom actions available today. The LW7 action features a billet stainless receiver, 2-lug bolt, integral recoil lug, and Remington 700 footprint. The heart and soul of the FDX is the Sendero-contour carbon fiber barrel featuring Proof PXT technology an overhaul of standard conventional rifling that results in reduced engraving force, less felt torque, and improved recoil control. The MTR FDX's barrel is capable of handling significantly higher-pressure ammunition while delivering consistent accuracy and longer barrel life. The muzzle is threaded and includes a thread protector. Likewise, the lightweight carbon fiber stock eliminates unnecessary weight and provides extreme weather resistance. Additional features include a TriggerTech trigger, Hawkins Precision M5 Hunter bottom metal, 20 MOA optics rail, and SRS combo rail for compatibility with both ARCA and Picatinny accessories.
