Trijicon RMR Type 2 Reflex Sight, 3.25 MOA Green Dot, Adjustable LED, Coyote BrownThe Trijicon RMR helped define the slide mounted pistol optic, and the Type 2 is the version built to take the beating of life on a reciprocating slide. This model, RM06-C-700820, pairs a 3.25 MOA green dot and adjustable LED with a Coyote Brown housing that suits tan, FDE and earth tone builds. Trijicon calls the 3.25 MOA dot the most versatile and popular RMR dot size: small enough for accurate shots at distance and big enough to pick up fast. Side buttons give you full control of the brightness, and every RMR Adjustable LED is night vision compatible.Key Features3.25 MOA green dot, the most popular RMR dot sizeAdjustable LED with 8 brightness settings, 2 of them night vision compatibleSide buttons adjust brightness, switch between manual and automatic modes and power the sight down for storageButton lockout keeps the sight in automatic mode onlyBattery conservation mode returns to automatic brightness after 16.5 hoursPatented housing shape diverts impact forces away from the lensUpgraded Type 2 electronics and ruggedized battery contacts1 MOA per click windage and elevation with no special toolsForged aluminum housing in Coyote BrownWaterproof to 66 ft (20 m)Why the RMR Type 2The RMR housing has a patented shape that absorbs impacts and moves stress away from the lens, which is a big reason the RMR has a long track record on duty and carry pistols. The Type 2 adds redesigned electronics and ruggedized battery contacts that Trijicon says are proven on slide ride pistols and other small arms. Trijicon lists military, law enforcement, concealed carry self-defense, target shooting and hunting as uses, and the RMR also works on rifles, shotguns and carbines, or as a secondary sight next to a magnified optic.Green Dot VisibilityMany shooters find a green dot easier to see against bright and busy backgrounds. This RM06 uses a 3.25 MOA green dot for both day and night, which balances precise shot placement with fast acquisition on the draw. The true-color, multi-coated lens gives wide-band light transmission with minimal change in target color.Adjustable LED ControlEasy-to-use buttons on both sides of the sight let you set brightness by hand, switch to automatic mode or turn the RMR off for storage. If you want the sight to run in automatic mode only, you can lock out the buttons so a bump on a holster or vehicle door cannot change your setting. The RMR uses one CR2032 lithium battery. Trijicon rates life at 2 years of continuous use on setting 4 of 8 at 70 degrees F, and battery conservation mode automatically adjusts the dot to ambient light after 16.5 hours.Mounting NotesThe RMR Type 2 has the same physical dimensions and mounting footprint as the original RMR Type 1. No mount is included. If you plan to install it on a Glock MOS, Springfield OSP, Walther PDP or H&K VP9 Optics Ready pistol, Trijicon says an RMR mounting kit (AC32064) is required. Two lengths of #6-32 Torx head screws and an RMR sealing plate come in the box.SpecificationsBrandTrijiconModelRMR Type 2 Adjustable LED (RM06)Manufacturer Part NumberRM06-C-700820UPC719307624993Optic TypeOpen emitter reflex sightMagnification1xReticle3.25 MOA dotReticle ColorGreen (day and night)IlluminationLED, adjustableBrightness Settings8, including 2 night vision compatiblePower Source1 CR2032 lithium batteryBattery Life2 years continuous at setting 4 of 8 at 70 FAdjustment1 MOA per clickMountNot includedDimensions1.8 x 1.1 x 1.0 in (45.72 x 27.94 x 25.4 mm)Weight1.2 oz (34.02 g)HousingForged aluminumFinishCoyote BrownWaterproof66 ft (20 m)Electronics Warranty5 years from date of manufactureWhat Is in the BoxTrijicon RMR Type 2 sightCR2032 battery2 #6-32 x 1/2 in Torx head screws2 #6-32 x .380 in Torx head screwsHex wrenchRMR manualTrijicon sticker (PR15)Warranty cardRMR sealing plate (RM63)Who It Is ForCarry and duty shooters who want a proven RMR footprint opticOwners of tan, FDE and coyote pistols who want a matching sightShooters who see a green dot more easily than redRifle and shotgun owners who want a compact primary or offset sightFrequently Asked QuestionsWhat is the difference between the RMR Type 1 and Type 2?The Type 2 has redesigned electronics and ruggedized battery contacts, with the same physical dimensions and mounting footprint as the original Type 1.What color is the dot?Green, for both day and night use.How many brightness settings does it have?Eight, including two night vision compatible settings, plus an automatic mode. What battery does it use?One CR2032 lithium battery.
