evo.com | Salomon Snowboards > The Salomon Lotus Snowboard is named for a flower that grows toward the light, and this board has the same idea in mind for whoever's riding it. A soft flex and directional twin shape lower the consequences and raise the confidence, making it forgiving enough to learn on without feeling like it's holding you back from the next level. Bite Free Edges run the full length of the board so hang-ups don't interrupt your flow, while Flat Out Camber loads up stability and response right underfoot where you need it most. A full-length aspen core with high-density wood in the binding zone keeps the feel consistent from first run to last, no matter how many laps it takes to get things dialed. Every rider blooms at their own pace, the Lotus just helps it happen faster. 2 x 4 Insert Pattern Extruded Base Offers long lasting glide with low-maintenance characteristics. ABS Sidewalls The molecular structure of ABS can be described as a concrete bar with rubber nuggets inside, combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption. Directional Twin A twin shape for freestyle moves with a directional flex for power at high-speed. Aspen Core Full-length, high-density aspen wood core for proven strength, efficiency, and resilience. A trusted Salomon standard. Salomon has been making footwear for decades, and the Salomon EDB Mindful Snowboard Bindings put those old shoes to work. Mindful front pads are made from recycled Salomon footwear, the 100% polypropylene highback keeps things lightweight and fully recyclable, and a booster strap adds the support and response to back it all up when the riding gets serious. An Air Cush rear pad brings large-volume shock absorption and rebound to every landing while completely tool-free adjustments mean that your setup never gets in the way of riding. Mid flex, everyday ready, built for riders who think about what their gear is made of as much as what it can do. MP Ratchets Highest performing and quality ratchet found on all Shadow Fit bindings. Better tightening, less ladder damage, more power and precision with each click. Canted Footbeds Instantly add pop power and extra edge control to your riding with 2.5deg canted footbeds. Easy on the knees and no loss of board-feel.
