The Rab Operator GTX mitten pairs GORE-TEX Product Technology with PrimaLoft Gold insulation and a high pile lining, so cold and wet weather do not force a choice between staying warm and staying dry. Externally stitched seams let the lining and outer shell sit closer together, keeping the palm low-bulk enough to actually handle and adjust gear instead of just holding a pole. A roomy, hook-and-loop cuff fits over a smartwatch without losing its close seal against wind and snow. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I stayed dry through a wet summit transition where my old mitts would have soaked through, and I could still clip my leash back on without peeling anything off. That combination is what makes this the mitt I reach for when the forecast turns bad."
