Ruger Mini-14 Tactical 5.56 NATO Rifle, 18.5 Inch, Walnut Folding Stock The Ruger Mini-14 Tactical pairs a 5.56 NATO chambering with an 18.5-inch threaded barrel and a walnut Retro Folding Stock. The matte stainless finish and walnut stock give this version its distinct material and color combination. Two nickel-plated steel magazines are included, each with the specified 20-round capacity. Ruger manufactures the Retro Folding Stock in-house using original tooling. Walnut construction, a stainless steel side-folding mechanism and an injection-molded pistol grip define the stock assembly. The barrel has 1/2x28 threads and a factory-installed flash suppressor. Cold hammer-forged barrel construction and a fixed-piston gas system are additional mechanical features of this exact model. An adjustable rear sight works with a protected blade front sight, and the receiver incorporates integral scope mounts. A Picatinny rail and scope rings are included for the supported optic-mounting options. At 39.25 inches overall and 7.5 pounds, the rifle has a 13.5-inch length of pull and a 1:9 right-hand twist. The folding-stock configuration and supplied magazines are central parts of the factory package.
