Dependability is what a hunting scope is judged on, morning after morning. The Thrive X 3-9x40mm holds its settings and keeps its controls straightforward, letting your attention stay on the country in front of you from the opening week of the season through to the close. The 30mm 6061-T6 maintube gives the erector room to work, which is where the 60 MOA of elevation and windage travel comes from. The turrets run capped or uncapped depending on your needs, indexing in 0.25 MOA clicks. The parallax is factory-set at 109 yards and the ZEROPLEX reticle is calibrated at 9x. There is a real argument for a scope that does one job completely. The 3-9x40 makes that argument in the field, with a deliberate set of choices behind it and the kind of predictability that builds trust in a rifle over years, not weekends.
