"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""This setup nails the balance between stiffness and responsiveness. It pedals like a trail fork but gives me the confidence of something much beefier on the descent. The chassis updates and Glidecore spring really step it up—this thing rips.""The FOX Float 36 29in Factory Grip X Fork blends precise trail handling with downhill-capable support, making it a favorite for all-mountain riders who demand performance on both the ups and the downs. With a 44mm rake and travel options that slot perfectly into aggressive trail geometry, it offers quick handling without compromising stability. Built around FOX’s updated 36mm chassis, this MY26 version introduces a redesigned arch for 20% more torsional stiffness and longer bushing overlap for improved support through rough compressions and braking chatter. The Glidecore-enhanced FLOAT EVOL air spring reduces friction by self-aligning under dynamic loads, helping the fork stay planted and responsive through chunky terrain. The GRIP X damper delivers buttery compression and rebound control with an intuitive firm mode for efficient pedaling, making it just as comfortable climbing as it is plowing through the rowdy stuff. With a floating Kabolt-X axle, Kashima-coated stanchions, and support for up to 230mm rotors, this fork brings enduro-worthy confidence to trail-weight builds. Whether you're powering through loam or pushing into steep chutes, the Float 36 is ready."
