Rocky Mountain Archery Field Point Features The Rocky Mountain Field Point is machined from steel to the same 100 grain weight and 19/64 diameter as a comparable broadhead allowing archers to sight in their bow without risking a sharp hunting point. Matching the weight and flight profile this closely means the arrow s trajectory during practice closely replicates what the hunter will see with the broadhead attached in the field. Because field points are blunt rather than bladed they are also far easier to remove from foam or bag targets than a broadhead reducing wear on both the arrow and the target material. Each package includes 12 field points giving archers enough supply for a full practice session or to outfit multiple arrows at once. Saving broadheads for actual hunting situations extends their working life and keeps them sharp when it matters most. This approach to practice is standard advice heading into hunting season and the Rocky Mountain Field Point makes it simple to follow. Durable steel construction ensures these points hold up through repeated use at the range.
