Rig Em Right Bloodline Elite Dog Vest Features The Rig Em Right Bloodline Elite Dog Vest uses a three-layer construction to address the multiple demands placed on a working retriever in cold wet conditions. The innermost 3mm neoprene layer sits close to the dog s skin trapping warmth similar to how a wetsuit functions for a human swimmer. A thin layer of foam between the neoprene and the outer shell adds buoyancy supporting the dog during extended water retrieves without restricting natural movement. The outer heavy-duty canvas shell protects against the brush briers and rough cover that waterfowl and upland dogs regularly push through in the field. Through the chest area 5mm neoprene replaces the thinner 3mm used elsewhere adding extra warmth and flexibility in a zone that takes significant stress during swimming and retrieving. A sturdy braided handle is built into the vest giving the handler a secure point to assist the dog back into a blind or boat. The vest s cut is more athletic around the neck and between the front legs than older designs reducing rubbing and bunching so the dog moves more naturally.
