RCBS X Die Small Base Sizer Features The RCBS X Die Small Base Sizer Die uses a specially designed mandrel with an integrated expander ball and decapping pin combining resizing and depriming into a single efficient step for .308 Win brass. Unlike a conventional sizing die the X Die does not shorten the case with each firing and resizing cycle because the mandrel controls the growth that would otherwise occur as the case mouth contacts it during sizing. An extremely close tolerance between the mandrel and die neck wall also prevents the case neck wall from thickening as length is pushed back during sizing.
