RCBS Matchmaster Competition Seat Die Features The RCBS Matchmaster Competition Seat Die is purpose built for the .17 Rem Fireball cartridge giving reloaders a dedicated tool for one of the more specialized varmint chamberings on the market. As a seating die its sole function is to press the bullet into the case mouth at a precise repeatable depth which directly affects how consistently rounds feed and how accurately they group downrange. Because the .17 Rem Fireball is a small high velocity cartridge small variances in seating depth can have an outsized effect on accuracy making a precision seating die especially valuable. RCBS designs its Matchmaster line to hold tighter tolerances than standard dies giving competitive and precision shooters the consistency they demand. This seating die is intended to be used alongside the other dies in a full .17 Rem Fireball reloading setup rather than as a standalone sizing solution. Reloaders who shoot this cartridge competitively or for dedicated varmint hunting will appreciate having a seating die matched specifically to their chambering instead of relying on a generic universal die. RCBS has built a long standing reputation in the reloading industry for dependable accurate tooling and the Matchmaster line represents their push toward even tighter competition-grade tolerances. For shooters running .17 Rem Fireball rifles this seating die is a focused upgrade for anyone serious about squeezing out every bit of accuracy.
