Midwest Industries MP5/MP5K Buffer Features The Midwest Industries Buffer is manufactured from a durable rubber polymer a material selected for its ability to absorb repeated mechanical impact from the bolt carrier group cycling during firing. This rubber polymer construction helps dampen the impact at the rear of the receiver extension reducing wear on surrounding components over time. The buffer is built specifically as a replacement part for MP5 and MP5K platforms running either a folding stock or a standard end plate configuration giving owners flexibility depending on their specific build. Over time factory buffers can wear down or degrade and this replacement gives shooters an easy way to restore proper function to their MP5 pattern firearm. Finished in a translucent color the buffer maintains a clean factory-correct appearance once installed blending in with the rest of the receiver assembly rather than standing out as an obvious aftermarket part. Midwest Industries manufactures this buffer in the USA reflecting the company s broader commitment to domestic production across its parts and accessories lineup. Replacing a worn buffer is a simple maintenance task that can meaningfully improve the feel and function of an MP5 or MP5K build. This translucent polymer buffer is a practical affordable replacement part for owners looking to keep their MP5 pattern firearm running as intended.
