Kaw Valley Precision Thread Adapter Features The Kaw Valley Precision Thread Adapter bridges the gap between a 1/2x36 threaded barrel and the far more common 5/8x24 thread pattern used on many suppressors and muzzle devices. At just 1.35 inches long the adapter adds minimal bulk to the muzzle keeping the overall rifle profile close to its original length. This small size makes it easy to leave installed without significantly affecting balance or handling even on lighter rimfire platforms where 1/2x36 threading is common. Shooters who already own a collection of 5/8x24 muzzle devices no longer need a dedicated thread pattern for every barrel in their collection. Built to a precise 0.84 inch outer diameter this adapter is designed for a secure properly timed fit on compatible barrels. Using a thread adapter rather than re-threading a barrel preserves the factory thread pattern while still opening up compatibility with a broader range of accessories. This approach saves shooters the cost and hassle of a gunsmith visit just to change thread patterns. For anyone running a 1/2x36 threaded barrel who wants access to the wider 5/8x24 aftermarket this Kaw Valley Precision adapter is a simple affordable solution.
