Iver Johnson AK47/AK74 Magazine Features The Iver Johnson Magazine is a 75-round drum built from steel offering a significant capacity increase over standard 30-round AK magazines for shooters who want extended time on target between reloads. Chambered in 7.62x39 the drum is compatible with AK47 and AK74 platform rifles giving owners of these popular platforms an easy way to add capacity without switching ammunition. The all-steel construction stands up to repeated loading and unloading an important factor for a magazine of this size that will see frequent use at the range. A black finish matches the typical appearance of AK pattern rifles and magazines keeping the overall look consistent with the platform. Proper loading practice matters with a drum of this capacity and the magazine should always be loaded to its full 75-round capacity to avoid potential damage to the internal spring and feeding mechanism. Loading to the designed maximum helps maintain reliable function and protects the magazine s warranty coverage. For shooters running high-volume drills steel challenge style competition or simply wanting fewer reloads during a range day this drum magazine offers a meaningful capacity advantage. The Iver Johnson 75-round AK47/AK74 magazine is a durable high-capacity option available for sale at GrabAGun for AK platform owners.
