Civivi Knives Qubit Features The Civivi Qubit is built around a 14C28N steel blade hardened to 57 to 59 HRC a Swedish steel known for its balance of edge retention toughness and ease of sharpening. The 2.98 inch drop point blade receives a flat grind and a black stonewashed finish giving it both cutting efficiency and a finish that resists showing wear from daily carry. A button lock mechanism provides fast secure one-handed closing while a caged ceramic ball bearing pivot allows the blade to swing open smoothly with minimal effort. At just 0.09 inches thick the blade stays light in the hand without sacrificing the rigidity needed for everyday cutting tasks. Red aluminum handle scales give the Qubit a bold modern look that stands out from the typical black EDC knife while aluminum construction keeps the overall weight down to 2.82 ounces. A reversible tip-up pocket clip machined from stainless steel allows the knife to be carried comfortably in either the left or right pocket. Opening is handled through a thumb stud letting the blade deploy quickly with one hand whenever it is needed. Closing to 4.21 inches and extending to 7.19 inches overall the Civivi Qubit combines quick secure operation with a handle color that is impossible to lose in the bottom of a bag.
