Beretta Conversion Kit Features The Beretta Conversion Kit is designed to let 92FS and 96FS owners switch their pistol to fire economical .22 LR ammunition a valuable option for high volume practice without the cost of centerfire rounds. The kit includes a dedicated 15 round magazine sized for rimfire ammunition giving shooters a useful capacity for training drills and casual range sessions. Because the kit uses the host pistol s existing frame and grip shooters retain the same trigger feel and manual of arms while training which helps build consistent habits that carry over to centerfire shooting. The blued finish on the kit is chosen to visually match the factory finish of the 92FS and 96FS pistols it is built for. This conversion kit is constructed from mixed materials suited to its dedicated rimfire function and it is purpose built rather than a universal fit across Beretta s lineup. Beretta notes that this kit does not fit any older model 90 or 92 series pistol equipped with a frame mounted safety so an owner should confirm their specific model before ordering. For 92FS and 96FS owners looking to reduce training costs while keeping the same gun in hand this conversion kit offers a straightforward path to affordable rimfire practice. It is a practical addition for anyone who shoots their 92FS or 96FS regularly and wants to put more rounds through it without the expense of 9mm ammunition.
