Avian-X Texas Rig Floating Shoulder Features The Avian-X Texas Rig Floating Shoulder system is built around tear-drop-shaped loops that each hold up to 12 rigged decoys keeping lines separated and tangle-free even when a full spread is loaded onto one carrier. This design means hunters can move a dozen decoys at a time across a marsh without stopping to untangle lines saving valuable setup time before legal shooting hours. The included twelve 48 inch Texas rigs use 350-pound clear monofilament for strength paired with stainless steel crimps swivels and D-rings that resist corrosion in wet waterfowl environments. Each rig also includes a 6-ounce mushroom weight giving decoys the anchoring they need to hold position in current or wind. Comfort during the carry itself was clearly a design focus with shoulder pads molded from high-impact material that spread the load evenly across the shoulders. That matters when a dozen rigged decoys add real weight to a pre-dawn walk into the blind. The patent-pending shoulder loop design reflects a purpose-built approach to decoy transport rather than a generic strap or bag solution. For waterfowl hunters who set large Texas rig spreads the Avian-X Floating Shoulder system simplifies both the carry and the storage of decoys between hunts.
