Athlon Talos HMR Features The Athlon Talos HMR is built around fully multi-coated lenses that maximize light transmission across its 4-16x range giving shooters a bright clear sight picture from dawn through dusk. The non-illuminated Center X MOA reticle keeps the setup simple and dependable with no batteries to fail at the moment a shot presents itself. A 22.3 to 6.4 foot field of view at 100 yards across the zoom range gives shooters a wide field for tracking moving game at low power and a narrower more precise picture at full magnification. The 30mm tube diameter offers a generous windage and elevation adjustment range for dialing in a variety of rifles and calibers. Finished in a durable black matte coating the Talos HMR resists glare and wear while blending into a hunting or range environment. Its one piece aircraft grade aluminum tube construction is nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging and sealed against moisture and dust intrusion in the field. At 22 ounces the scope stays reasonably light for mounting on hunting rifles without unbalancing the rig. This combination of rugged construction and straightforward optical performance makes the Athlon Talos HMR a practical choice for hunters chasing big game across variable distances.
