Athlon Talos HMR Features The Athlon Talos HMR 6-24x50mm scope uses an etched glass APRS-H2 MIL reticle in the second focal plane so the reticle stays the same visible size throughout the magnification range while holdover values are calibrated at maximum power. A 30mm main tube provides a wider internal adjustment range than a standard 1 inch tube letting the MIL-based turrets dial in precise corrections for distance and wind. Illumination adds a glowing aim point for low-light conditions powered by a CR2032 battery housed in the sealed chassis. Fully multi-coated lenses across every glass surface improve light transmission giving a brighter higher-contrast image from dawn to dusk. Nitrogen purging combined with a completely sealed one-piece tube construction keeps the Talos HMR fog proof and waterproof even in heavy rain or an accidental submersion. The aircraft-grade aluminum tube is further rated shockproof standing up to the recoil of hard-hitting rifle calibers without losing zero. At 13.9 inches long 2.3 inches tall 1.97 inches wide and 22 ounces the scope is sized to balance well on a hunting or precision rifle without adding excessive bulk. A field of view spanning 16.7 feet at low power down to 4.5 feet at full magnification both measured at 100 yards gives the shooter flexibility from scanning for game to identifying distant targets.
