The Rost Martin RM1S Comp is a purpose-built subcompact pistol designed to deliver enhanced control and shootability in a concealed carry platform. Manufactured by Rost Martin, this striker-fired 9mm pistol combines compact dimensions with performance-driven features, making it well suited for everyday defensive carry. Chambered in 9mm, the RM1S Comp utilizes a 3.6-inch, hammer-forged match barrel paired with an integrated compensator system that helps reduce recoil and muzzle rise. This model includes the Viridian RFX11 Green Dot, giving shooters a fast and intuitive aiming solution for defensive or training scenarios. The compensated slide features anti-glare top serrations that maintain a clean sight picture even in bright or challenging lighting conditions. With a combination of compact concealability and enhanced recoil control, the RM1S Comp is engineered to deliver confident performance where it matters most. The defining feature of the RM1S Comp is its integrated compensator, which works in tandem with the match-grade barrel to mitigate recoil and reduce muzzle flip. This design allows shooters to maintain faster follow-up shots while keeping the pistol on target during rapid defensive engagements. Its optic-ready configuration paired with the included Viridian green dot optic gives the pistol a modern sighting system capable of significantly improving target acquisition speed and precision. Whether used for concealed carry, defensive training, or range practice, the optic-equipped setup enhances situational awareness and accuracy. Rost Martin also focused on practical slide ergonomics. Anti-glare top serrations reduce reflections that could distract from the sight picture, while slide machining provides positive grip when manipulating the firearm. The result is a compact pistol that feels refined, controlled, and easy to operate under stress. Capacity options further expand the RM1S Comp's versatility. The pistol ships with one 12-round magazine for optimized concealment and one 17-round extended magazine for increased firepower and improved grip length when desired. This dual-magazine setup allows users to tailor the pistol to different carry or training situations. Together, these features create a modern concealed carry handgun that blends concealability, shootability, and advanced sighting capability into a single refined package.
