The Kriss Vector CRB Gen 2 is a purpose-built platform engineered around recoil mitigation and shooter control. Built on the legendary Super V mechanism that channels blowback energy straight downward rather than backward, this semi-automatic carbine delivers measurably flatter sight tracking and faster follow-up capability than conventional direct blowback designs. The 16-inch barrel offers practical maneuverability without sacrificing ballistic performance in .45 ACP, while the compact profile makes it equally at home in entry-level defensive scenarios or sport shooting environments. The MultiCam Alpine Cerakote finish provides professional-grade durability and corrosion resistance across all steel and aluminum components. Built to withstand demanding field conditions, the finish resists wear from holster carry, equipment contact, and weather exposure. Recoil Management and Handling The Super V Recoil Mitigation System is the core differentiator. By routing bolt carrier energy downward through a patent-pending mechanical system, muzzle rise is controlled naturally without requiring external compensation or tuning. This translates directly into faster target reacquisition and reduced felt impulse compared to traditional blowback carbines. Practicality and Configuration 6-position collapsible stock allows length-of-pull adjustment from 12.5 to 13.75 inches, fitting operators of varying frame sizes without sacrificing cheek weld or control Integrated Picatinny top rail accepts any standard optic mount; side rails support lights, lasers, and hand stops 30+1 capacity with included magazine provides practical round count for duty and sport use Closed-bolt design with consistent trigger pull and predictable reset Specifications Caliber .45 ACP Action Closed-bolt semi-automatic Barrel Length 16 inches Overall Length 33.5 inches (stock extended), 27.5 inches (stock collapsed) Capacity 30+1 rounds Magazine Type Proprietary single-stack magazines Safety Manual ambidextrous safety lever Stock 6-position collapsible, Picatinny compatible Rail System Integrated Picatinny rails (top and side) Finish MultiCam Alpine Cerakote Weight Approximately 6 pounds unloaded Operation Delayed blowback with Super V recoil mitigation The Vector CRB Gen 2 represents a meaningful departure from conventional carbine design. If muzzle control and recoil management drive your platform choice, the engineering here delivers measurable performance gains. The .45 ACP chambering positions it as a natural companion to duty-sized pistols while the compact 16-inch setup remains practical for close-quarters work.
