Great Lakes AR-10, .308 Win, 16 Barrel, 10+1, Lichen Black Camo Cerakote, Rifle + 5 OTF Knives The Great Lakes Firearms GL10 Lichen Black bundle pairs a .308 Winchester AR-10 semi-automatic rifle with five Great Lakes OTF-style knives in one package. The rifle is built on billet 7075 aluminum upper and lower receivers with a 16-inch nitride-coated 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium barrel, a 15.125-inch M-LOK handguard and a rifle-length gas system, making it a capable choice for whitetail, elk, black bear and other big game as well as target and silhouette shooting. This exact package is the Lichen Black version: the rifle wears Great Lakes' Lichen Black camouflage Cerakote, an aggressive urban-style camo pattern, and ships with one 10-round magazine. Five assorted Great Lakes OTF-style knives come in the same master carton, each in its own retail packaging. Order the Great Lakes GL10 Lichen Black AR-10 bundle from BattleHawk Armory and have it shipped to your local FFL. 16-Inch Nitride 4150 CrMoV Barrel with 5R Rifling The 16-inch barrel is machined from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel and finished with a nitride treatment for hardness, wear resistance and corrosion protection. It uses 5R rifling, whose rounded lands are gentler on the bullet jacket and easier to clean than conventional sharp-edged rifling. Each barrel is double thermally stress relieved and air gauged. Stress relieving reduces the internal tension left from machining so the barrel stays more consistent as it heats up, and air gauging checks the bore for uniform dimensions along its length. The 1:10 twist rate stabilizes the common range of .308 Winchester hunting and match bullet weights. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24, the standard .308 AR pattern, and comes fitted with a muzzle device installed hand tight without thread locker, so it is easy to swap for a brake, flash hider or suppressor mount of your choice. Rifle-Length Gas System A .750-inch gas block feeds a rifle-length gas tube. The longer gas system gives a softer, smoother impulse than shorter systems, which helps keep the .308 Winchester recoil manageable and makes follow-up shots and spotting your hits easier. Billet 7075 Receivers and 15.125-Inch M-LOK Handguard The upper and lower receivers are machined from billet 7075 aluminum, a high-strength aerospace alloy. Up front, a 15.125-inch 6061 aluminum M-LOK handguard gives plenty of room to mount a bipod, sling points, a light or other accessories, and keeps your support hand clear of the barrel. The rifle has no iron sights, so you are free to set it up with the scope, red dot or backup sights that fit how you shoot. Mil-Spec Trigger, Grip and 6-Position Stock The GL10 uses a mil-spec trigger with a 5.5 to 6 lb pull, a mil-spec polymer pistol grip and a mil-spec 6-position adjustable buttstock. Because the furniture and fire control follow mil-spec patterns, you can upgrade the trigger, grip or stock with a wide range of aftermarket parts as your needs change.
