The Colt Delta Elite 1911 brings proven 1911 ergonomics and Colt pedigree to the potent 10mm chambering. Built on a full-size 1911 footprint with a 5" match-profile barrel and an 8+1 capacity, the Delta Elite pairs classic single-action control with the hard-hitting ballistics demanded by hunters, outdoorsmen, and serious shooters who want big-bore performance in a familiar, time-tested platform. Colt's Delta Elite bridges tradition and power: tuned to handle stout 10mm loads with reinforced components and a robust slide/barrel fit that preserves accuracy and longevity. The extended sight radius of the 5" barrel improves point-of-aim confidence, while match-minded internals and refined ergonomics deliver a crisp trigger and predictable lockup. Whether used for hunting, defensive applications where extra terminal performance is desired, or as a range tool for heavy-load drills, the Delta Elite is a beefy, reliable 1911 that keeps the platform's best traits intact under hard use.
