Manufactured in Japan by Miroku, this distinctive rifle features an engraved, factory-marked Medallion receiver, gray laminated hardwood stock, adjustable Browning BOSS muzzle system, and mounted Simmons riflescope. The Medallion Varmint is a less commonly encountered configuration of Browning's A-Bolt II series, combining the decorative features of the Medallion grade with a heavy-profile varmint barrel and laminated stock. Features include detailed scroll engraving on the receiver, gold-colored Browning Buckmark emblem on the bolt shroud, jeweled bolt, checkered forearm and pistol grip, contrasting wood grain, and recoil pad. The rifle measures 25.25 inches from the closed bolt face to the end of the adjustable BOSS muzzle system. The BOSS features a numbered adjustment collar and ported muzzle attachment. The barrel is marked ".223 REM / 5.56MM ONLY." Serial number 53207NW817 contains Browning's NW date code, corresponding to 1994 production.
