"The Skate Loafer takes a 1950s silhouette and rebuilds it as a genuine skate shoe. SickStick rubber grips the waffle outsole while a vulcanized sole keeps the ride flexible and close to the deck, and PopCush insoles cushion impact through long sessions. A subtle 5-checker flag at the collar keeps the retro look intact without giving up any of the board performance underneath. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I didn't think a loafer belonged anywhere near a skateboard, but the SickStick grip holds through pop after pop the same way my regular skate shoes do. The vulcanized sole reads the deck just as well, so the retro shape stopped being a compromise the first time I rode it."""
