Flip open a compact folder that punches above its price with the ABKT Elite Apis, a 3-inch D2 steel drop point built for daily carry. Made for the pocket that has to handle boxes at the door, cordage at camp, and everything in between, the Apis keeps a low profile at 3.75 inches closed and rides on a pocket clip so it stays out of the way until the moment you need it. The blade is D2 tool steel with a satin finish, a semi-stainless workhorse steel known for holding a keen edge through hard use. The handle carries textured G10 inserts that bite into the palm in wet or gloved hands, and a ball-bearing pivot gives the blade a "jaw-droppingly smooth" flip that lands on a liner lock every time. At around 4 ounces the Apis disappears in the pocket, and the contoured handle fills the hand without hot spots during long cutting sessions. Fast to deploy, easy to sharpen, and priced to carry every day, the ABKT Elite Apis is a no-compromise EDC folder for anyone who wants real D2 performance without the boutique price tag.
