The Shimano Dura-Ace PD-R9300 pedal drops the shoe-to-pedal interface to 12. 5 millimeters, shortening the distance between foot and pedal axle for a more direct connection to the bike. A wider contact platform spreads pressure across a bigger surface during hard efforts, and a refined pedal shape with a wider cleat catch makes clipping in faster and more consistent. The included CL-SL110 cleats carry three degrees of float in each direction, with additional cleat options available for a tighter or looser range. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I clipped in cold at the start of a crit and didn't have to hunt for the pedal, the wider catch found the cleat on the first try even with my foot moving fast."
