What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve been riding the XTR CN-M9100 for over a year now and it’s the quietest and most consistent 12-speed chain I’ve used. Shifting is snappy even under load, and it holds up to serious miles—especially on my e-MTB. I love how the Quick Link makes installation quick, though I always keep a spare since it's single-use."When we’re hammering through chattery descents or charging punchy climbs, we need our drivetrain to be as dialed as the line ahead. That’s why we trust the Shimano XTR CN-M9100 Chain. Shimano’s high-end 12-speed chain delivers ultra-smooth, reliable shifting and rides whisper-quiet—even when conditions get rowdy. Engineered for the rigors of both XC racing and demanding E-MTB applications, the CN-M9100 features a single-use Quick Link for fast, tool-free connection. Its precisely shaped plates ensure enhanced chain retention and responsive shifting under torque, making it ideal for everything from weekend rides to full-blown enduro epics.
