What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "The Áspero GRX has been one of my favorite gravel rigs because it balances speed and stability so well. I love how the dropped seat stays take the edge off rough sections without dulling the bike’s responsiveness. Plus, the threaded bottom bracket and UDH compatibility make it way easier to live with long term. It’s a bike I can take to Unbound one weekend and still enjoy on a big adventure ride the next."When we roll out on the Cervélo Áspero, we’re chasing that pure thrill of gravel racing—fast, fun, and built for the long haul. Cervélo designed this rig with the heart of a road racer and the soul of an explorer, giving us a machine that thrives on dusty stretches, washboarded lanes, and endless headwinds. With Shimano’s GRX drivetrain, Reserve wheels, and WTB’s fast-rolling rubber, every pedal stroke feels dialed for speed without sacrificing control. What really sets this Áspero apart are the refinements Cervélo pulled in from their world-class race bikes: a threaded T47a bottom bracket for reliability, UDH compatibility for modern drivetrain setups, and neatly integrated cable routing for a clean look and easy upgrades. Dropped seat stays add compliance when the miles pile up, while the geometry stays sharp enough to push the pace in competitive events. Whether we’re chasing podiums or chasing horizons, this bike makes us faster, fresher, and ready for more. Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
