Built around the legendary Mark V action and backed by a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee the Weatherby Mark V Dangerous Game Bolt-Action Rifle is the ultimate choice for hunters who demand absolute reliability. The reliable Mark V action features 9 locking lugs and a short 54 bolt throw for strong lockup and fast cycling when seconds count. The bolt is deeply fluted to both reduce weight and increase smoothness and speed during cycling. The barrel is threaded and comes with an Accubrake ST radial brake to help tame recoil from heavy magnum cartridges. Each stock features hand-painted detailing and a Monte Carlo comb for repeatable cheek weld and sight alignment, providing comfort under heavy recoil. Rugged NECG iron sights come standard for close-quarters targeting for charging animals. The Mark V DGR also comes with a TriggerTech adjustable trigger that allows you to fine-tune pull weight for a crisp, consistent break. The hinged floorplate adds an extra round of capacity and ensures simple unloading and magazine access even in adverse condition.
