Crafted with a refined traditional look, the Weatherby SORIX Field Semi-Auto Shotgun is engineered for precision and is built on the proven inertia recoil system. The inertia recoil system uses the gun's recoil to cycle the action instead of using gas from the fired cartridge. The inertia system is simple, robust, low-maintenance, and cycles a wide range of loads without issue. The receiver features an aggressive competition cut for easier and faster reloading along with oversized controls for easy operation while wearing gloves. Plus, it features the SHIFT SYSTEM, which allows users to swap the charging handle and safety to a lefty-friendly configuration. The stock gives it a classic look and is adjustable for fit via included shims. The barrel, top rib, and receiver are coated in Cerakote for the ultimate in corrosion resistance. The LPA fiber-optic front sight provides swift target acquisition. Optics-ready receiver is drilled and tapped. Uses Crio Plus chokes and includes 5 choke tubes (C, IC, M, IM, F). Made in Italy.
