Discover the precision and performance of the Hornady 7mm .284 175 Gr ELD-X Bullets, engineered for serious hunters and reloaders seeking consistent results across all practical shooting distances. These 175-grain projectiles deliver match-grade accuracy combined with reliable terminal performance, making them an ideal choice for 7mm cartridges like the 7mm PRC, 7mm Remington Magnum, and similar platforms. Advanced ELD-X Technology The ELD-X (Extremely Low Drag - eXpanding) design features Hornady's signature Heat Shield tip, which resists aerodynamic heating to maintain its shape and deliver the highest-in-class ballistic coefficients throughout the trajectory. This results in flatter flight paths, reduced wind drift, and superior long-range accuracy compared to traditional hunting bullets. Verified ballistic performance: G1 BC of 0.689 and G7 BC of 0.347 for exceptional downrange efficiency Controlled expansion: At high velocities (0-400 yards), the bullet expands progressively with 50-60% weight retention; at lower velocities beyond 400 yards, it retains 85-90% of its weight for deep penetration Optimized construction: Streamlined secant ogive, boattail base, and highly concentric AMP jackets ensure aerodynamic efficiency and match-level precision Key Benefits for Hunters and Reloaders Whether targeting medium or large game, these bullets address common reloading challenges by providing reliable expansion and weight retention without sacrificing accuracy. The non-lead-free design offers proven terminal ballistics while the 100-count packaging supports high-volume reloading sessions. Compatible with twist rates of 1-8.5" or faster, they stabilize effectively in modern 7mm rifles for consistent groups at extended ranges.
