Engineered for precision and reliable terminal performance, the Hornady 38 Cal .357 180 Gr XTP Bullets deliver the accuracy and stopping power demanded by serious shooters. These jacketed hollow point projectiles are ideal for handloaders seeking consistent results in .38 Special and .357 Magnum applications, combining advanced design with proven field performance. Key Features Controlled Expansion Technology - Precise serrations divide the bullet into symmetrical sections that weaken the jacket, promoting reliable expansion even at lower handgun velocities while maintaining deep penetration. No Exposed Lead Core - A protective gilding metal jacket covers the nose, ensuring proper function of the hollow cavity on impact and smooth feeding in semi-automatic firearms. Swaged Core Construction - Uniform core density provides balanced expansion and exceptional in-flight stability for superior accuracy. Drawn Gilding Metal Jacket - Varying jacket thickness along the bullet length enables precise control over expansion, outperforming plated designs with uniform jackets. Integrated Cannelure - Allows for accurate, consistent crimping on revolver loads without distorting the finished bullet profile.
