Watchtower Firearms 1911 Magazine Features The Watchtower Firearms 1911 magazine is built from stainless steel a material chosen for its resistance to corrosion and its ability to hold up to repeated loading and unloading cycles. Chambered for 9mm Luger the magazine fits the 1911 platform and delivers a 20 round capacity well beyond the 7 to 9 rounds typical of a standard 1911 magazine. That added capacity gives shooters more rounds on tap before a reload a benefit for competition training or duty use. The stainless construction also gives the magazine a durable surface that withstands scratches and handling wear over time. Its stainless finish matches the appearance of most factory and aftermarket 1911 pistols keeping the setup visually consistent. The magazine is purpose built for the 1911 pattern frame so fit and function are tailored to that platform rather than being a universal design. Shooters looking to extend their 1911 s capacity without changing calibers or frames will find this magazine fits the role directly.
