Watchtower Firearms 1911 Magazine Features The Watchtower Firearms 1911 Magazine is machined from stainless steel and finished with a black DLC coating a diamond-like carbon treatment that increases surface hardness and reduces friction during cycling. This coating helps the magazine resist wear from repeated loading and unloading while also improving corrosion resistance compared to an uncoated finish. Holding 20 rounds of 9mm Luger this magazine gives 1911 pattern pistols significantly more capacity than the traditional 7 or 8 round single stack magazines most 1911 shooters are used to running. That extra capacity can be a meaningful advantage in competition stages or range sessions where reloads cost time. Built specifically for the 1911 platform this magazine is designed to feed reliably across 9mm 1911 pistols configured for extended capacity magazines. The stainless steel body provides the strength and durability needed to handle the stresses of a longer higher capacity magazine body without deforming over time. Shooters running 1911 pistols in competition or for high-volume range training will appreciate the reduced reload frequency this magazine provides. For 1911 owners looking to upgrade their capacity without sacrificing reliability the Watchtower Firearms 1911 Magazine is a durable well-finished option.
