Steyr Arms AUG A3 M2 NATO Features The Steyr Arms AUG A3 M2 NATO uses a gas piston operating system that keeps the action running reliably while reducing the fouling that reaches the receiver. Its 16 inch cold hammer forged barrel with a 1:9 twist rate is built for durability and accuracy across a range of 5.56 NATO loads. The bullpup layout keeps the overall length to 28.13 inches despite the full length barrel making the rifle easier to maneuver in tight spaces than a traditional rifle of the same barrel length. A two position crossbolt safety offers simple intuitive manipulation under stress. Finished in OD Green synthetic furniture over a black metal finish the AUG A3 M2 NATO stands out while retaining a durable low maintenance exterior. The extended Picatinny rail runs the length of the receiver giving shooters room to mount optics lights or lasers exactly where they need them. This NATO configuration accepts standard AR15 magazines including the included 30 round magazine simplifying logistics for owners who already run AR pattern rifles. A QD sling swivel is included for fast attachment of a sling for carry or retention. At 7.65 pounds the AUG A3 M2 NATO stays light and balanced for a rifle of its caliber and barrel length aiding quick target transitions. Synthetic stock construction keeps the rifle resistant to weather and rough handling in the field or on patrol. The rifle ships ready to run with sling swivel studs and a crossbolt safety already in place. Whether used for home defense training or recreational shooting the AUG A3 M2 NATO offers a compact and distinctive option for 5.56 shooters.
