Sons of Liberty Gun Works Liberty Gas Block Features The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Liberty Gas Block is machined from 4140 heat treated steel a material selected for its strength under the heat and pressure cycling a gas block experiences during firing. It is designed to sit directly on the gas journal shoulder giving the builder a precise repeatable reference point for alignment with the barrel s gas port. The .750 inch port diameter matches a common AR-15 barrel profile making it a straightforward swap for builders working with that barrel contour. Knurled set screws are included for secure installation and the block is pre-drilled and ready to be pinned for a build that calls for a permanent non-removable gas block. Finished in a nitrided coating the Liberty Gas Block resists corrosion and wear better than an untreated steel finish holding up to repeated exposure to hot combustion gases. Sons of Liberty Gun Works builds its small parts to fit most mil-spec AR-platform firearms making this gas block a dependable choice whether the builder is assembling a competition gun a duty carbine or a personal defense rifle. As a company known for manufacturing quality firearms and parts for builders at every level SOLGW backs this gas block with the same attention to tolerance and material quality found across its upper and lower receiver lines. For a builder who needs a gas block that fits correctly the first time this .750 pinned-ready option delivers.
