Safariland Species Features The Safariland Species is a new minimalist inside the waistband holster design offering a smaller footprint than other IWB holsters on the market. Built around SafariLaminate thermal molded construction the holster brings Safariland s proven material quality into this compact new holster platform. A suede lining improves the fit around the firearm while also protecting the gun s finish from wear during repeated draws and reholstering. Integrated passive trigger guard retention allows a personalized feel during the draw letting the shooter dial in the balance between security and speed. Dual functionality and tension adjustment give the wearer control over how the holster grips the firearm a feature not found on many fixed retention IWB holsters. Fitted specifically for the Glock 19 the Species mounts via a 1.5 inch belt clip and is finished in a woodland camo pattern for a distinctive low visibility look. This model is also compatible with optics equipped pistols extending its usefulness beyond a bare slide configuration. For Glock 19 owners seeking a compact adjustable and durable IWB holster the Safariland Species is available at GrabAGun in a right hand configuration.
