Safariland Species Features The Safariland Species IWB Holster is molded from Boltaron-based SafariLaminate material bringing Safariland s quality construction into a new smaller category of inside the waistband holsters. Its minimalist shape trims bulk compared to traditional IWB designs making it easier to conceal under a shirt or light jacket while carrying an S&W Shield EZ. A Cordura finish adds texture and durability to the exterior without adding unnecessary thickness to the overall profile. The belt clip mount attaches to a belt up to 1.50 inches wide keeping the holster secure and stable throughout the day. Dual functionality built into the Species design gives the user the ability to adjust retention tension dialing in exactly how much resistance the draw stroke requires. This personalization lets a shooter match the holster s feel to their own carry style whether that means a faster presentation or a more secure snug retention. The holster is configured for a right-hand draw and finished in a black multi-cam pattern that blends with a variety of concealment garments. For S&W Shield EZ owners who want a slimmer more adjustable IWB option the Safariland Species delivers Safariland s holster expertise in a compact new form.
