Migra Ammunition Staxd Features The Migra Ammunitions Staxd load stacks #2 and BB steel shot within the same 12 gauge 3 inch shell giving hunters the pattern density of smaller shot alongside the added knockdown energy of larger BB pellets in a single load. This stacked approach is particularly useful in waterfowl hunting where birds at varying ranges and angles benefit from a blended shot profile rather than a single uniform size. Steel shot construction keeps the load compliant with non-toxic shot requirements common on many waterfowl hunting grounds. A 3 inch shell length allows for a larger overall payload and increased velocity compared to shorter 2-3/4 inch loads. Loaded with 1-1/4 oz of shot the Staxd leaves the muzzle at a rated 1515 fps delivering the velocity needed for effective range and penetration on waterfowl-sized game. That combination of payload weight and velocity is tuned to work with the dual shot sizes rather than against them helping maintain an effective pattern despite the mixed pellet sizes. Packaged 25 rounds to the box this load gives hunters a substantial supply for a day in the blind without constantly reloading pockets. For waterfowl hunters who want the flexibility of two shot sizes in one shell the Migra Ammunitions Staxd is available for sale at GrabAGun.
