Legend Outdoor Gear Aftershock Cleaning Cable Features The Legend Outdoor Gear Aftershock Cleaning Cable is built around an integrated bronze brush that leads the cable through the bore breaking loose carbon fouling and lead fragments left behind by firing. Following the brush a woven cotton braid sweeps the loosened debris out of the barrel in the same pass cutting down the number of strokes needed compared to a standard rod and patch. Sized for 5.56mm and 22 caliber rifles the cable is purpose built for the bore diameters most common among modern sporting rifles. Used alongside Aftershock CLP solvent the cable becomes part of a complete one step cleaning and lubricating routine. Because the woven cotton braid is completely washable the Legend Outdoor Gear Aftershock Cleaning Cable can be rinsed clean and reused many times rather than discarded after a single use. That reusability makes it a practical choice for shooters who clean their rifles regularly and want to avoid a steady stream of disposable patches. Its compact flexible design also stores easily in a range bag or cleaning kit alongside other maintenance gear. For 5.56mm rifle owners looking for a fast repeatable bore cleaning solution the Aftershock Cleaning Cable offers a simple upgrade to the traditional cleaning rod.
