LanTac Spada Free Float Handguard Features The LanTac Spada Free Float Handguard is machined from extruded 6005A-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type 3 hardcoat anodized coating in Class 2 Deep Black giving it both corrosion resistance and a durable long wearing surface. Its ultra narrow diameter keeps the handguard comfortable in the hand while still providing a full M-LOK attachment system along its length for mounting lights grips and other accessories. A patented anti slip and anti rotation system reinforces the connection at the receiver end allowing the handguard to clamp securely onto the barrel nut without shifting under recoil. Once installed the handguard cannot be removed from the barrel nut without backing out all three fixing screws ensuring it stays locked in place during hard use. At 10.5 inches long with an outer diameter of 1.55 inches and inner diameter of 1.15 inches the Spada is sized to work with a range of AR-15 pistol and carbine length builds. The barrel nut itself is machined from AISI 1018 carbon steel and finished with a nitride QPQ coating for added wear resistance. Combined hardware and mounting nut weight comes in at just 9.08 ounces keeping the overall package lightweight on the front end of the rifle. Manufactured in the USA and shipped complete with all necessary mounting hardware this handguard suits builders who want a precision machined free float upgrade for their AR-15.
