iRay USA AC55 Flip to Side Mount Features The iRayUSA AC55 Flip to Side mount was developed jointly with American Defense Manufacturing to give RICO Micro owners a faster way to transition between a thermal clip-on and a day optic like an LPVO or a holographic sight with magnifier. Rather than removing and reinstalling the thermal unit every time a transition is needed the shooter simply flips the mount to swing the RICO Micro in or out of the optical path. A reversible design allows the hinge and QD lever placement to be configured on either side giving the user flexibility to match their preferred manipulation style. Adjustable hinge tension and QD latches on both the optic side and weapon side keep the mount secure through recoil while still allowing quick removal when needed. Machined aluminum construction with a durable anodized finish gives the AC55 the rigidity needed to hold zero through repeated flips and reattachments. A 2.05 inch co-witness height is specifically designed for compatibility with night vision height optics letting a shooter stack a day optic and the RICO Micro without losing proper eye alignment.
