HiViz AR Tritium Front Sight Features The HiViz AR Tritium Front Sight replaces the standard front sight post on most AR-15 and M4 rifles equipped with A-frame or folding front sight assemblies. The green tritium insert glows continuously without the need for batteries or an external light source giving shooters a visible aiming reference in low light and nighttime conditions when conventional sights become difficult to see. This self illuminated design benefits hunters taking shots at dawn or dusk as well as anyone relying on their AR for home defense in dark conditions. The vertical post design keeps the sight picture consistent with the rifle s existing A2 style front sight base. This sight is compatible with most fixed and detachable A-frame or folding front sight setups commonly found on AR and M4 pattern rifles though it does not fit Magpul BUIS models. An adjustment tool and detent are included to simplify installation and allow for elevation adjustment once the sight is mounted. The steel frame material used in similar AR front sight components reflects the durability expected from a duty grade sight upgrade.
