Griffin Armament Suppressor Ready Features The Griffin Armament Suppressor Ready Rail allows suppressors up to 1.5 inches in outside diameter to be mounted inside its octagonal M-LOK rail giving AR-15 pattern rifles a sleek and compact overall length even with a can attached. Machined from 7075 aluminum with a type 3 hard coat anodized finish the rail is built to close tolerances for a secure long lasting fit. A new slip fit clamp design makes installation user friendly requiring no shims or special timing methods that older rail systems often demanded. The barrel nut included with the rail can be installed to 35 to 85 foot pounds of torque using the included Griffin Armorers Wrench. M-LOK flats sit on each of the rail s 45 degree surfaces giving the shooter mounting points for lights grips and other accessories around the full circumference of the handguard. A contiguous Picatinny top rail runs the length of the handguard ensuring repeatable and accurate mounting for night vision and thermal optics session after session. The rear section of the clamp geometry is kept low profile and ergonomically comfortable even during long durations of extended carry at static security positions.
