Gemtech Direct Thread Adapter Features The Gemtech Direct Thread Adapter bridges the gap between Gemtech s HUB mounting system and a standard 1/2x28 threaded barrel letting a single suppressor serve hosts that use different mounting conventions. This kind of adapter is valuable to shooters who run more than one host firearm and do not want to purchase a separate suppressor for each threading standard. Direct thread mounting is simple and widely compatible so converting a HUB-based suppressor over to this format expands where that suppressor can be used. The adapter s design keeps the mounting interface secure and repeatable so the suppressor maintains consistent alignment with the bore each time it is installed. Finished in black to match typical suppressor and barrel finishes the adapter is unobtrusive once installed and does not stand out against the rest of the host firearm. At a shipping weight of just 0.15 lbs it adds negligible bulk or weight to the overall suppressor system. This kind of accessory is especially useful for shooters building out a multi-caliber or multi-host suppressor setup since it removes the need to standardize every barrel to the same thread pattern. The Gemtech Direct Thread Adapter is a practical affordable way to extend suppressor compatibility available for sale at GrabAGun.
